About us
I didn’t start out planning to run a handyman business — I just liked fixing things. Over the years, that turned into helping friends, family, and neighbors with whatever they needed: a fence that wouldn’t close right, a leaky sink, a bathroom that needed gutting, a shed that needed building. One job led to another, and somewhere along the way I realized something simple but important: there’s a real need for honest, skilled help — especially in small towns like ours. I got my general contractor’s license not just to make a living, but to build something meaningful here in Pine Hollow. I wanted to be someone people could count on — not a big company, not a sales pitch, just a local guy who shows up, does the job right, and treats your home with the same care I’d give my own. My background is hands-on. I’ve learned by doing, by making mistakes, and by putting in the time to figure things out the right way. I’ve remodeled kitchens, rebuilt water-damaged bathrooms, built fences, landscaped yards, and created everything from custom furniture to backyard ponds. I’ve always had a creative streak, too — I enjoy welding metal art, restoring old pieces, and designing water features that bring a little peace and beauty into a space. This business isn’t about doing the least and charging the most... It’s about doing good work for good people. It’s about being the kind of craftsman and neighbor I’d want to hire myself. And it’s about showing my kids that honest, steady work still matters. Thanks for being part of the story. — Brent (Founder, Pine Hollow Handyman)
